Body so fragile-

You are my flower-stem girl.

I shield you from the breeze,

Hold you when you sneeze

In case you snap,

Break down at my knees,

Collapse and give up hope.

I saw you bloom,

A bright and shining flower

In your day,

Then I watched you wilt

And lose your petals,

Colour fading as your winter came.

You must lie in barren soil

At night-

You are so weak,

Too weak to win the fight,

The game we play called Life,

Survive.

It hurts to watch you suffer,

Your colours were always so unique,

But now you grow ever-closer

To the perfect image you so desperately seek.
