Avianca Flight 52 was a flight from Colombia's capital to New York City. The setting takes place on January 25 in 1990. The weather has heavy fog and the rain was awful. It was winter but the flight was a Boeing 707 and when they were contacting New York approach. The plane was having a little bit of fuel left but the plane has been still contacting the New York tower. Then as the crew members in the cockpit is puzzled and perplexed and can't know where is the runway due to having bad weather conditions and the flight was blocking the runway with heavy fog. "Lower the gear" said the captain. "Gear down" said the co. pilot. "GLIDE SCOPE!" said the flight engineer. "Pull up" said the GWPSR which the voice was a female so the pilot says "Gear up!" "Gear up!" said the co. pilot and then the plane was trying to go up. The plane has crashed into a village and a town which is named "Cove Neck" which is near the airport. It have crashed into a forest in Cove Neck. Since that the plane has been crashed. There are 80s survived. estimating but don't know which was the real surviving number. But now the aircraft investigations and the report that was that Flight 52 was never needed a emergency descent and have they were supposed to go on a another stopover but then they have change their minds that the flight will just have a stopover and then destination heading but the crew has no idea that they were supposed to get a another stopover which could be that they would have to stop at Boston if the flight path was gonna bank left in Boston and then heading for New York.
