The luminous moon illuminated the narrow path ahead. The old woman Luna, with eyes the color of Summer sunsets, leaned on her gnarled oaken staff and wiped her lips with a worn handkerchief. The dry leaves were blown thither and yon by the warm, parched wind. She wasn't finished. She knew what she had to do. "Must keep walking," she thought to herself looking back at the path behind. It had been easy, too easy, traveling during daylight, the light was now behind her.

She reached into the top of the strange tower (with her mind) and glanced at the inscription that read "Homestar."

"My little-ones await my quick return, too far I have journeyed, now make haste," she whispered as she reached out to take the spell scroll.

She kept walking.

Until she saw a quick running stream, with purple waters. "Are there many beautiful and intelligent people here abouts?" she asked the stream." Over and yonder, where nymphs gambol follow the broad brushed stone path" " I have the spell scroll ," she said knowingly.

She shuddered instinctively, dreading the touch of the cold watery hands of a small, female nymph. Tactile greetings were fine, but having that iciness clench
